Say Cheez LA
Say Cheez LA, located on Pico Boulevard, is a children’s entertainment center with interactive activities, toys, games, snacks, and birthday packages. Think of it as a Chuck-E-Cheese but kosher. It includes activities for toddlers to pre-teens.
Sloomoo Institute
Sloomoo Institute is where kids can go to make and play with slime. It’s right across from The Grove, just a 10-minute drive from Pico-Robertson, and has activities that are fun for kids of all ages. Adults will also love making their own scented slime to bring home.
Los Angeles Zoo & Botanical Gardens
The LA Zoo is home to over 1,700 animals from more than 270 species and located in Griffith Park, about a 40-minute drive from Pico-Robertson. Highlights include the Rainforest of the Americas and Elephants of Asia exhibits.
California Science Center
Just a 20-minute drive from Pico-Robertson is the California Science Center, which features over 150 interactive exhibits, including the Space Shuttle Endeavour. Make sure you check out the Butterfly Exhibit while it’s still going!

Families can enjoy hiking, fishing, and water sports like boating, kayaking, and waterskiing in this serene environment. If you keep kosher, make sure to stock up on kosher meat before coming; the supermarkets there do not carry it.
Disneyland Park
Disneyland is a classic getaway for families. Make sure you use your SoCal discount.
